Steps to Stay Safe

• Do not slam the brakes. Ease off the gas and slow down gradually.
• Turn on hazard lights and move to the right shoulder.
• If you cannot reach the shoulder, pull as far right as possible.
• Stay in the car with your seatbelt on if traffic is heavy.
